The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence (GBV) is a global campaign held annually from November 25th (International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women) to December 10th (Human Rights Day). In 2024, Health Outreach Tanzania (HOTA), in collaboration with Women in Law and Development in Africa (WiLDAF), organized a caravan route across the Coastal Regions and Southern Highlands Corridors of Tanzania. The campaign aimed to raise awareness about GBV, provide health-related support to survivors, and educate communities on the processes of accessing essential services, such as obtaining a PF3 form from the police and seeking healthcare for GBV-related issues.
